What does everyone think of the blackwaters for the 400ex? I am thinking about getting them along with a new set of 9x9 ITP 190s for the rear of my 400. I want to use them as an aggressive snow/mud tire. Are these reliable? Does anyone use them? Or are there any other suggestions? Thanks

I have been thinkin the same thing.....

So far I have came to this as far as options

Realtors:
Good Straight away bite for snow&mud
Good Sidewall bite for Ruts
Bad track history for flats
Weight at 22" tire by 9"rim 18lb (not bad)

Blackwaters:
Good Straight Away Bite
Lack Sidewall Bite...the xt's have it but cant buy in 20"
Better Track Record for Flats..
questionalble wear history
Weight at 20" tire by 9" rim, 18lb

Spider Tracks:
Good Straight Away
Good Side Bite
Good wear history
Wide,,,,at 12.5 inches
Good ground clearance
22" high only by 9" rim
Problem with weight because 22" at 24lbs

So far the Blackwater is my choice...would like to hear another opinion of someone who has rode em
