Took my 5 year old son to the track for the first time yesterday. He's on a new '07 90EX that we got him about a month ago. I learned a couple of things:
1. He's gonna need better suspsension.
2. My wallet is gonna be empty for a LOOOONG time.

So what front end should I go with? My research is limited, so I'm pretty much starting from scratch. Any recommendations? Anything to stay away from? I've seen some setup's w/ the Fox front shocks, so I'm leaning towards those as far as the shocks go.... Thanks

Before you spend all that money. Did you make sure the track rules will allow a 5 yr old to ride a 90. That's not usually until around 8 years old.

Good luck with the racing it's a blast no matter what way you go.

All front ends are good, and i am new to the honda market. we went a little different way with the rear end. I set the rear up with the new rpm axle for the drr, as you can see from the photo's mike posted it is a clean and light weight set up for the rear. After fox set the shocks this weekend on the front man it feels sweet. I think this bike will be one to keep an eye on. dave

you should try the kids on quads front and rear suspension kit, they have 3 of the top riders, in the gncc series riding their kit this year, and always have top 5 riders in the gnc series, plus they are very reasonable, 1100.00 for front a-arms and long travel swing arm kit. call Tom at their shop 616-363-1215, and he will help you out
