So it ran well, REALLY well.

I was asked to drag race a piped, and filtered 660r and beat him with NO problems. Mine was still stock from the dealer. I never even got all the way out of 4th. It was scary fast and very stable at those high speeds.

I took it later on some technical hill climbs and descents with big rocks and loose stuff. The gearing seemed a little too high and I had to ride the clutch to keep it from killing.

It also did very well in the off-camber turns and was very forgiving when I did second gear wide sweeping donuts. I didn't think I would like the IRS, but I'm a new convert. It soaked up bumps that would have thrown me off into the scenery on my 400EX with ease.

1st gear is low, but like I said before, not low enough for technical stuff. It's great for drag racing though. 2nd gear rocks your socks. I never bottomed out or high centered ONCE.

(No, the fenders aren't touching the "wall".)

I also took it through some mudd that was about 6" deep at WOT and went through quickly. The mudd roost was epic.

I can't wait to uncork this with a slip on and a filter. Paddle tires for the dunes would be nice too.

Black plastics scuff easy, ESPECIALLY above the foot pegs.

Thanks guys!

Cool pics man, looks like a fun place to ride. How plush the suspension? Rear pretty stiff?

If you ever rode a jet ski, wave runner or Sea Doo, it was like landing after jumping a wave. Nice and smooth.

Does the front lift on the hill climbs?

So far I haven't had that happen to me, but with that said I've only got two days worth of seat time on it.

Just rode mine sat. as well. Suspension is great. Very comfortable. Did a little racing, top end is great but raced a honda 450 HMF exhaust, airbox removed and rejetted and his holeshot was much better. Gonna add new exhaust and we will see what happens. Great clearance. only drawback sofar is that i like throwing some dirt and donuts and stuff. With the IRS its a little harder with donuts and it hooks up really well. Looking forward to more time on it.

yeap. with the 1.3 million and change Croom made in just season passes which are $50 a year last year plus camping and day passes... they started to really make the place great! marked trails everything is maintained, recently they plowed the main trails good this time lol other times they plowed them and made them worse. They also put sand ans smooth the road out every once in a while so the place is getting there. It was very primative for so many years and finally this past year they started to make the changes for the better. I think the passes went up to $60 a year which is still an awesome deal so hopefully that extra $10 will furthermore advance the park.
