throttle?

my cr 85 was running rich in 3/4 to wot so i decided i to the change the main jet. I took the entire carb of the bike except the throttle assembly ( spring, needle, cap , etc). i put the main jet in, put it all back together and now it wont move past 1/4 throttle any ideas im stumped?

is there to much play in the cable??

its almost like its to tight and it will move more as a loosen the cap but if let the cap loosen it will pop off so idk what to do:confused:

Take it apart again and put it back together... You probably just missed something.

You don't have the slide in the carb the right way. Start there, it should move very free. Good luck.
