ATTN 44ex guys what oil

I am trying to find out what weight oil to run in my machine with a 440 kit. What oil weight and brand are you guys runnin in yours?

How much do you want to spend? Do you want synthetic or regular? As long as you run a oil made for motorcylces/atvs you are fine. I currently run amsoil 20w50 in my 440 stroker since it gets into 90s-100s in summer. Depending how cold it gets Ill run 10w40. I have run several other oils but amsoil has been by far the best to me. The engine runs quieter and a little cooler. It costs a little more but in my opinion its worth it. Just make sure if you decide to get it to get the one for motorcycles/atvs.

I've always ran GN-4 in my stroker. 10w-40 when it's below 80-85 and 20w-50 when it gets hot.

I'm going to do an oil change today, going to try Honda HP4 this time around. 10w-40

yeah i just switched from 10w-40 to 20w-50 and I noticed my motor isnt nearly as hot and it cools down much faster after riding.

Silver bottle, yes. Gold bottle, no. I bought the gold bottle. Synthetic blend w/o moly.

I am running Redline 10W30 in winter and 10W40 in summer. If I were riding in extreme heat, I would run Maxima 15W50.....all ester synthetics!
