02 YZ125 Cylinder Plating?

I was just wondering is Yamaha started puting that nicacil (or w/e) plating on the cylinders yet. Its an 02.

I think the YZ125 has had a plated bore since 1989.

Yamaha calls its coating "ceramic composite". Honda is the only powersport company I know of that uses Nikasil (which is a registered trademark of Mahle). Regardless of the name (Nikasil, NiCom, ceramic composite, Suzuki Composite Electrochemical Material, etc, etc--there are a bunch of them), most ultra thin bore coatings are similar in that they are all electroplated nickel silicium carbide composite coatings. Their exact formulas might be a little different but they are more or less the same.
