a lot of people say these probably don't do much if anything at all, but they deffinetly do a lot. when i first got the quad it was so hot that it was burnin my legs up, but since i put them on it's been alot better. and LESS HEAT = MORE POWER!!!

oh and a tip for anybody that wants to make them... on the spots where u need to bend, use a dremel with a cut off wheel to grind it down a little, but not too much, just a little. just cut like 1/4 of the way through it to weaken it a little bit.

thanks for posting those directions....i'm definently going to make them....when you but the sheets of metal....are they just at the hardware store?

my friend just had some extra aluminum laying around, idk where he got it, but i'm guessing home depot, or probly most hardware stores would have it. i know they have the brackets at home depot. that template isn't the best but i did the measurments from the scoop itself so they are right. but the template should help a little. and post a pic after you make them, if u can.

Thanx man.... I want to make a set of scoops for my and my GF's quads. I work at a sheet metal shop so gettin metal and tools isn't an issue. I'll post a pic when I make them.
