my pastics were pretty faded so i decided to attempt to repaint them since i dont have the money to spend on new ones right now. i used the krylon fusion paint for plastics. it took 4 cans of yellow and 1 can of black and for $4.24 a can it makes for a pretty cheap paint job. my question is has anyone else done this and how well did it hold up. these pics were taken after i had ridden and pressure washed it once and it held up pretty well. i scuffed all the plastic with 800 grit sandpaper, then cleaned it with pressure washer, then cleaned with prep-all, then with brakleen, then with alcohol. as you can tell i had some previous problems with it sticking. my other question is what kinda graphics should i go with for a good price. again im not looking to spend a lot on graphics kit, but would like to have something to make it less plain. thanks for looking

it was actually holding up really well....but then i sold my ex:( . i had pressure washed it 3 times and no problems. the only spots that had tiny chips were where fenders came together and rubbed but it was where you couldnt see it. im painting on my 250r now and it looks pretty good. ill get some pics of it

well if its the same color basically, if it chipped/scratched you wouldn't really notice correct?

exactly, thats why i always do the same color. i really wanted to do all black, but black with yellow speckles wouldnt look too good
