This thing actually makes 72hp.

When dirtwheels tested it, I forgot what they exactly said. They said something like it's ??% more horsepower than the outlander 800.

I did the math, and it came out about 72hp, because the outlander is 62, so I added the percentage and that's what it came out as.

Supposedly faster out of the box then the 450's:eek2: That's what Dirtwheels claims, and with that kinda horsepower, I believe it.

I'll test ride it for you. I looked at one of these a couple weeks ago and my wife even gave me the go ahead to buy one but I just could bring myself to do it. With the limited amount of information that is out there on this new model I could bring myslef to dropp that big of a chunck of change down for a first year bike.

I have been following what owners have been saying about them on Arctic Chat and they are having some issues with a few of the early Thunder Kitty's. Couple people have broken the front diff case in half and I believe they had a starter problem as well and the little plug that is over the Stator has popped off on a few people.

I will be interested to see what you have to say about the quad Pappy. If you need me to I am going to Harlan County Kentucky June 2th-5th I can just me you there to put the Thunder Kitty through the paces.

:blah:

I will read all I can AFTER I/WE ride the snot out of it. I want 100% personal feedback before I go looking at issues, that way I can write about what we found etc.

With this much power, its begging to find a mudhole!
