2004 400ex reverse convertion

on a stock motor, has anyone replaced the bottom end from and 04 and updated with an 05? if so how hard was it? did it work alright

theoretically..shouldnt be hard at all...and should work just fine..probably need the other lil bs stuff other then just the bottom end though..
im sure someone has done this somewhere..

I've seen an 04 with reverse on ebay before, but they put a whole 05 engine on it instead of replacing the bottom end. That would be awesome if it worked, the better styling plus reverse.
