For those of you running a Hetrick pipe on a Scrambler/Predator/Kasea/etc. frame, could somebody please post some pics & measurements of where you located the vertical brace. It's the brace that you welded in that runs from the rear motor mount crossbar up to the shock mount? I don't have a pipe yet and I want to make sure I leave enough room to get the pipe in/out after that brace is welded in place.

If you weld it about centered between the motor mounts you will be fine. I forgot about leaving room for the pipe when I was doing mine and it worked out just fine. If I remember tonight when I get home, I'll try to find pics.

I welded ours just a little to the left of center. Plenty of room though.

As viewed from the back of the frame or the front?

Here are those pics. The first one is a Predator frame and the second green frame is my daughters DRR. They are the same at the rear.

I posted pics of the brace I used on my Scrambler 90 build-up thread.
