Hi,

I've been trying really hard to get my bearings out. I have cooked my carrier for 15 minutes.

I was knocking directly on the bearing, is the 2 bearings and the cylinder will get out on the same way?

Or they have to get out the carrier from the side they are?

Thanks.

I heat mine up with a torch and stood the carrier on one end. After a minute or so, the bearing simply fell out.

they should be removed from the side they are on.

I have rebuilt several carriers, stock and lsr. Heat the center of the carrier and tap on the bearings, they should come right out. Here's a tip, before you do this, if you have the replacement bearings, put them in the freezer for about 2 hours prior to heating the carrier. Knock out both bearings from the carrier, keep some heat on the carrier. Run to the freezer and grab the bearings, they should fall right in the carrier. All you will have to do is use 2 big sockets(pipe, etc) to hold the bearings in place for a few minutes while things, cool down/heat to room temp.
