No Spark !!!!!! help!!!!!

Ok I striped all the battery stuff off the harness…. And have what I believe to be just what I need……. But I have no spark? Does anyone know how to check the stator?? The only thing different in the pics is the white wire coming out of the stator which I had grounded I cut it. The two wires from the stator to the CDI are simple, the coil hot was simple. Now the rest of it I believe is right. Any help would be nice I need to get this thing going. I ran four wires in a harness from the front with the ciol and kill switch wires in it to make all my conection in the old battery box.

From what I'm finding out it has a alternator not a stator so with no battery no spark. McVay Racing is going to fix me up this weekend...... thanks Charlie
