I just put on a 21 front tooth sproket and a 28 rear on the mk 70. Any one try this combo and had good luck. Im running 4.5 rollers koso variator and koso rear clutch 1500 ztr spring and yellow clutch springs . havent done any drags yet but seems to come off the line good. Any one got some results that they have tried with this set up. Likes or dislikes.

We are using the 20/32 combo, but as mentioned totally different clutching. The MK winds up quick and for me, lighter rollers work best.

We are running a 20/28 with 1500 ZRT 5 gram rollers on are 70 MK kit. The belt goes right to the top. Take off is awesome pulls right thru. I never thought it would pull it but seems to run great.

Hows the little one doing??

Paul she and momma are doing great they came in to work with me today for the morning, she couldnt stand to watch anymore tv . Well every one seems to be about 20 front any one tried a 21 and not liked it or you thinkn the gearing is to high . i thought about going up roller weight but it seems like it took the gear fine .

condsider the tranny gear ratios in your comparisons, some of the quads mentioned may be runnig the new higher speed gears.

They are the old gears not the new high gears

Same with us I took the new 7 to 1 out and put the 90 gears in. Going to use the new gears for the TT bike. I know the 20/28 combo sounds crazy but it is working. Ratio is 1.40 comparied to the 1.68 (19/32).

Glad to hear baby and mom are doing good.

At Virgina (High speed track) I ran a 20/25! I'm liking it. Tons of speed and seems to pull well. Going to run it at High Point too. See if it will pull up that monster hill.

My thoughts: You should get full belt travel first then if the engine over-revs before it should - change gears. IMHO.
