View Full Version : are 05 and 07 shocks the same?

nope, same design and all just little things. The fronts they switched to aluminum preload collars in 2006 shaving off a half pound from each shock. And they used a stiffer spring on them. Thats about it. Just minimal things.

rears are not the same the 06 ones are a tad bit longer and stiffer too IMO

The rezzie is mounted in a different location on the '06 and newer. If you mount an 04-05 shock on an 06-up, the rezzie will hit the motor.
