I know I'm beating a dead horse, but does anyone know if the ****-tech carbon fiber hoods for full-bore plastic will mount to the single piece maier race fronts? ...with little modification..

P.S. I don't know why if won't let me type m.a.u.l-tech, changes it to ****-tech, for some reason. Sorry. Won't let me paste the html either.

and from the shape of it i dont think that it will match up with a set os stockers or a set of maiers. The full bores are about 2" longer at the tip of the nose and the hood also wraps down right at the "beak". If i were you i would get one from Andy **** stat because he only has a few left and after that they are gone. Dont bother with feather carbon as i got a hood and tank cover from them which took me 3 1/2 months. They are poor quality, really kind of slopped togather and now he wont return my emails or phone calls....So lame!!!
as far as the M-tech the fit and finish are flawless!!!
Jump on one of them and save up for Full bores...the end result is stunning

I have to agree with Jason. The Ma ul Tech hoods are definately worth it. The fit is perfect on fullbores and the durability is insane. One option you might consider is a 400ex Quad Tech hood. I had one a while ago and was going to trim it to fit my fullbores until i bought the M-tech hood. It hung over slightly on each side. Not sure if youd want to go cut up a Quad Tech hood or not, but it might be an option for you and also seeing as they go for around $100 instead of the insane prices for the 250r ones. Wish i had some pics but i dont. Maybe post in the 400ex section and see if someone could measure you one or something. Might be an option for you... Hope this helps a bit.... or do what Jason said and buy a hood, save up for fullbores, and youll be thankful you did.....

I don't think it would fit. The maier one piece has a different shape than that of full bores.

Agreed with above, the full bores are perfect with Andy's hood. ;)

This website will not let you type address... not sure why????

google ma#l-tech, but replace the # with a "U" and that'll get you there. I would post the link myself, but this site won't let me. replaces ma#l-tech with ****-tech.
