we put the pipe on and it pops and bogs untill it warms up is this normal on the fuel injection or do you have to program them when you put a pipe on, it just a slip on thanks

your gonna want to get a fuel controller. They come borderline lean from the box, when you add a pipe and other mods it gets worse.

W/ the FI you want to let it warm up for a minute before you even touch the gas, lots of guys were fouling plugs out on them that way.

It is possible to get the motor lean enough with a pipe added an no changes to the FI system that you can actually burn the motor up..

eventually it will. Running lean makes it run hotter and isnt good on internals.

I had to redo my topend after about 5 months just had stock header, baffle out and pro design intake no controller. I put it together w/ same intake, full exhaust high comp piston and a controller and runs way cooler and more responsive . :D

You will need a fuel controller like the Motoworks FMI. It allows you to adjust the fuel easily. Thanks, Motoworks.

Does changing the CDI box help at all?
