Help with new bike and papers

I purchased a 2003 suzuki 125 and the owner did not have a certificate of origin so we just did a bill of sale. Should i get some papers? and if so how do i get them and where? thanks alot guys

It should have came with one. I would find out where he finainced it and purchased it(if he bought it new). Start from there, you might be able to get another title or find out that the guy didn't finish paying it off or something worse.
