Anyone ever have trans. pressure when changing oil?

Yes...
Remove the fill plug first, It will releave the pressure.
before you remove the drain plug.

It does it on both of mine and the others I work on.

make sure your breather tubes are not cloged, there really shouldnt be much pressure in the cases if the breathers are working

Where should the vent tube run mine is not clogged just curious how it should run?

it comes from your tranny, into a T, because the valve cover breather ties into that, the into the sise of your airbox into the filter( if you run a foam filter)

Doesn't it go to the tank guard? some times people think it goes on the carb cause there is a tit right there but it goes on the tank guard...

On mine, the trans vent comes straight up and goes into the plastic tank shield. My crank vent comes up to a t that is connected to the valve cover vent. From there, it goes into the airbox.

Z man thanks for the info. the guy i bought the bike from had it hooked up to the tit on the carb.
