Does anyone know what the specs are for the stock DS-450 Handlebars? I'm looking for new Protaper Bars, and I want about a 2" rise overall. The Tusk 1 1/8" Bar adapters give 3/4" rise, so I need bars that are approx 1 1/4' taller than stock.

I bought pro taper atv high bend and they are the same height as my stocks.

Last time I checked, you can go to Pro Tapers website and they have all the specs for their handlebars as far as sweep, height and width.

The DS has been awesome for us at Akraix. The quad is comfortable and easy to get used to. We have put them through hell over jumping 75ft ramp gaps and haven't had any issues. They are great on the track as well, and we are still using stock suspension!!!

Yea we are going to put PEP's on all our bikes. Wayne has worked with Derek, Jon and Myself for years.

have you had any problems with the bike overheating and going in to limp mode?

We have different CDI boxes on our quads that eliminates the lymp mode. We have also drilled the vent holes you may have seen on the MX race quads. I have had my gastank pressurize once during a moto when it was 90 degrees outside and very humid, but no major problems with anything else.

Yea you wouldn't want the bike to go into limp mode off of the gaps you guys jump. That is the only thing that scares me about these bikes going into limp mode on the face of a jump.

Ben Bettis, is the limp home mode that only thing the different cdi box changes?
