i was talking with my buddy who had the 110mph shee today. he said that he's running a 18/42 or something! he hasn't ever found the top end of the bike either. is that just pretty insane gearing or what? i'm guessing that his bike puts out about 80rwhp or so. but he's gonna get it on the dyno here pretty soon, but damn thats just kinda crazy sprokets isn't it? or do i just not know hehe.

I don't think and 18 will fit. I don;t even know of any companys that make an 18 tooth for a banshee or any quad for that matter.

that dont really sound too steep. if u do the math, 42 divided by 18=2.34. by just adding a 16 tooth front sprocket on a 400ex u get 2.38. the gearing im runnin now on my 400 is 16/36 and that =2.25, which is harder to pull than 18/42. and my 400 pulls it good. sorry for soundin like a smart***** but, just thought id let u guys know. but 18 front is huge.

whats the stock gearing on a 400 isnt it 15/36?

like crashin said, its not crazy sprockets at all, he went up in sizes in the front AND rear so it equals out the gear ratio
