i took my quad in for servicing and they said my rear brakes need to be replaced. they said they would do it for around 50$. is it worth the money or should i pick some up and do it myself. how difficuilt is it to do it yourself and what are the steps? thanks a lot

It depends how much needs to be replaced, but a $30 repair manual will give you the step by step to do it yourself. Most likely since the dealership said they'd do it for $50 bucks, you only need a (~$25) set of pads.

It is relatively easy, if you have any mechanical experience. Probably just a set of brake pads. Imo do it yourself.

If i were you i would go buy a repair manual, and do the brakes yourself. Plus with the repair manual you can do other repair to your limits. This way you are saving money in the long run.
