View Full Version : 460Stroker Engine/Carb 400ex, Reasonable!

This is what you need to keep up with the 450s. This is a 400ex engine that has been bored and stroked to a 460cc motor. The motor has very little time on it. After having the engine built i got a new job that doesnt allow much free time to go riding. It might have 15 hours on it. No hard riding AT ALL. I never raced, just rode in some fields with some friends once in a great while. I have a ton of money invested in it. The edelbrock carb comes with it. I tried both this carb and a 450r carb and this one was far superior. It is dialed in perfectly for this motor. An IMS Roll shifter comes with it. Basically just bolt her in and GOOOOO!. You will not be disappointed with this motor. It has some serious low end torque and with the right gearing it gets some HIGH SPEEDS. Do a little research and you will see parts alone cost more than $1600 to do this stroker, plus the machine work, an experienced builder (a very talented and experienced quad engine builder did this motor), and the carburator alone is BIG BUCKS. This motor has no problems at all. no leaks, no smoke. I am asking $1500 plus shipping. This will packed EXTREMELY well. I have a box for it already that I am going to reinforced with wood. It will be insured so there is no problems with that. I will get you a shipping quote. I hope to have the box ready this afternoon. definitely..just not everyone has 1500 layin around for a nice motor for a atv :D

Could you send all the paper work along with it. Mostly the carb. Just incase I screw something up and need a replacement part later on down the road.

What type of fuel did you use?

Much pleasure doing buiness with you.

Oh and one more thing I forgot, what brand of exhaust did you have? I need a new one so might as well do it now. Thanks again.
