high comp piston or big bore kit

i have a ltr450 and i bought me a set of cams and im going to magics this weekend to get me a power commander but i was thinking while im there im going to get either a high comp piston or a big bore kit what do u think its a athens kit do u think ill see alot of diffrence with either one and what about reliabilty.

not sure but i would think big bore would make more power but the high comp piston would deffinetly be more reliable than a whole big bore kit.

i agree... go with just a high comp piston, it will be better in the long run

well thats what i was thibking was a 13 to 1 big bore i just dont want to get some serious problems from it cause i still do trail riding up north michigan and the last thing i want is to break down 50miles from where im parked

Where abouts do you ride? I ride bull gap and st helens most of the time. I've got a cabin in west branch and I live in flint.

You gonna be up in St Helens for memorial weekend? Looks like I'm gonna be riding Bull Gap on Saturday and Sunday then riding St Helens on Monday.

Thats why I mostly hang at the hill on the big weekends.
