My 07 450ER is swapping oil between the motor and trans. I can fill both sides properly, and by the end of the day. The trans will be almost completely empty and the motor will be way too full. Anybody got any ideas what would be causing this? I bought this brand new in November, and have put around 80 or so hours on it.

Your case is cracked at the crank bearing. Usually from over revving.

It is pretty common on the TRX's if you ride them hard.

The seal in the crank that is on the clutch side. It can be changed without splitting the cases.

That's reassuring. I'm just glad to know that it's probably something relatively easy.

Its more than likely your crank seal after 80 hours on one of those motors... if it is a hard 80 hrs check your crank over really thorough.....

Yes it is pretty simple to change a few gaskets and two seals
