View Full Version : Cracked Frame....

So, i think my frame was cracked a little when i went riding this morning. Then i did a jump and cased it, and the whole tube cracked in half.....i can find someone t weld it for now but....this sucks

holy crap good Job. thats one for the wall of shame:p You should be proud of that.

i did the same thing on both sides. cracked all the way through. welded them up made me some gussets and good to go.

yeah its fine if you weld it up and gusset it. You need to gusset it though. Theres always sending it to Pappy get it fixed gusseted and powdercoated ;) Thats what I would do at least. He always deals with cracked frames and he does nice work.

Thats what i would do! But the thing is, i just spent all my money on 450r shocks. haha. And i still gotta pay my parents off.

Hmm you could take it to a local shop and have them weld that up and put a little gusset on or something. Or if you have the skills to weld do that. If you cant do anything JB Weld it lol

haha. yeah i got some JB...one of my friend's sponsors weld stuff...im hoping he'll do it for not to much. Either that, or my friend is taking welding at his high school.....ahahha

Yeah, They need to be completely redone. Plus, they don't have any adjustments like the 450r shocks exept for the spring tension.
