i am in the process of building my first crf hybrid, and was wondering how hard these motors are to kickstart? I have a stock 2003 motor. Let me know thanks, josh

idk if my motor was messed up but it was fully rebuilt ever case bolt washer everything was brand new and for some reason it took about 30 minutes to get running some times..
idk what the deal here was unless it was the stator or somthing or a bad cdi box idk

I have a 03 CRF and never had an issue hot or cold. a few kicks and its running, actually i dont even have to use the hot start when the motor is warmed up.

thanks for the help guys! So then their is a hot start setup for the crf450 motors? I know their is a hot start for the yz motors but was not sure about the crf motors. Any info would be appreciated.

thanks

could be jetting or intake valves are tight. check valve lash. if the intakes are tight it will be a bear to start.
