shocks question

Anybody know if a set of front shocks off of a z400 will fit on my 400 ex. If so, what mods if any do I have to do?

Yes they will bolt up and in stock form should perform better than your stock 400ex shocks

I hope your talking about 05 and up Z400 shocks because 03/04 Z shocks are no better than the EXs shocks.

arent z400 shocks a quarter inch longer than 400ex's? seems the length is wrong an the stroke would be off

Yes they are longer so are the 450r shocks. As for the stroke and length of the shock that can all be altered during a converison. Just because a shock has more stroke than the stock shock isn't always a bad thing where do you think aftermarket companies get that extra travel they are advertising? He never asked if they would be perfect he asked if they would bolt up.
