Wanted a bike for summer and ran across this at a local shop. 1987 Honda VF700C "Super" Magna. They made the super for two years 87 & 88. But each year is different, 87 was 700cc(for tariff reasons), 88 was 750 (tariffs lifted) so these were each only made for one year. About 10,000 made each year. They were way ahead of their time and they didn't sell well back then. They are getting fairly collectable but you can still find them around.

I was worried about a 22 year old bike, but it is really smooth. Now if the weather would cooperate so I could get it on the open road.

39K miles, paid $2700 for it. Hope you like it.

dude you got a deal on that bike. A lot of people don't realize just how fast those bikes are. In a straight line drag there is hardly anything that will touch it.

You will have fun outrunning harleys stop light to stop light.

Wow, that thing looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor! Nice find

It has a few small tank dings and a few chips here and there but you can only see them up close. I may check into having the dents removed.
Thanks

man, my dad has a 1976 honda 550 4 cylinder street bike. Has i think 5k miles on it, and hes the original owner. Hasnt been started up since the early 80s so the fluids n stuff have been corroded, but its in perfect condition. We are looking to sell it, so let me know if anyones interested.

Congrats! Those are really nice bikes. My dad's friend has one. They run real nice and very stylish.

Now this isn't a strike against you or anything, but they killed the magna name..:( The Magna used to be the V65 1100 Magna. They had such awesome power and a nice ride, i cant believe they lowered them to a 700/750cc and got rid of the shaft drive.

But all in all, very nice bike and congrats!
