View Full Version : Rich or lean for cold weather?

My 400 EX is currently running a 160 main with a Pro Circuit T4, Everything else is stock and the air box lid is on. It seems difficult to start when cold. It taked a while to warm up and it doesn't have as much top end power as it had when it was warmer out. Should I jet it leaner or richer for cold weather? I'm thinking richer because the air is more dense and that means more of it is getting in the cylinder.

set your pilot at 42, helps with cold starts

Cold air is denser so you will have to richin it some.

I wish I was rich. But all these quad parts are taking my money so I dont have money to get for to eat, so i'm stuck being lean lol!
