engine...can be blown up.locked up

I need an engine perfer 4 stroke for a project.
Would like to be honda. WOULD LOVE AN XR 400 or something. has to have all eltc/carb set up.
Dont have much to spend. Can be locked up in need of rebulid.

I got a 96 xr 250 motor with a 280 kit and a spare cylinder. Needs head gasket. Have carb wiring. needs a kicker. 400 shipped.
