i bought an 05 and the fan wasent on it .... i matched the plug wires to the one on the fan but whare does the clear tube hook up to and what tells the fan to kick on?? any info would help

The clear tube sticks onto a little plastic nipple that is stuck into one of the top left frame rail.
Up behind the stem clamp gusset.
Hard to see unless the gas tank plastics are off the bike.

Theres a wire that goes to the top of the thermostat housing, thats what grounds the fan to come on.
Along with the CDI.

anymor info would help what if he took out the thermostat and what is the cdi the only to things that i have obn the fan is the clear tube and the plug an i missing wires?
