Camshaft bearing, need help!

i recently open my 400ex motor to put a high compression piston and xr cam in it but the problem is with the bearing on the camshaft, the bearing on the timing chain side is a bearing with a seal on one side, i forget if the seal goes toward the cam or the outside?????

if someone can helps me it would be appreciate!

A greenish colored seal??? Mine the green side was facing outward.
