A few weeks ago I said I would post pics of my 400ex with side silver plastics. It looked like crap at first with the black stock seat so I took the seat and re did it myself. It came out pretty good even thou the pics succ. I did the seat in gray as well with silver tribal flames running down the sides...

look nice, now put a silver gas tank cover and silver 250r hood to top it off

I love my lights and I don't think you can out the hood and keep your lights. The Tank cover doesn't sound to bad of an idea...

Yeah good idea. And since you wanna keep you lights get a set of those Lazar lights that are in the ATV Mags.

Never seen teh lazer lights.. are you talking about the billet ones. If so I wouldn't put them on eithier. I bought my 400 mainly because I love the way the stock lights look. If I didn't want any of that I would have just bought a 250R...

yeah that is a different pipe, would you happen to have any pictures in the sunlight, the side panels look almost black

i think you're quad looks awesome, way to get a custom look, I like how the side panels dont have the holes in it

i thought the stock panels wouldnt fit on maier plastic or vice versa

if you read his first post you would see that he says they are silver, this is why I wanted him to get a picture in sunlight cause they'd look better

OK OK OK.. I'll get pics in the light... To settle it they are Maier side plastics..... I had to cut a few lines with my dremel and extend the stock lines to get both plastics to match up. I just cut my front fenders also so I will have pics today or tomorrow...


The exhaust is CT Racing Exhaust.

The Grab bar is a 6 pack rack that RIS Designs makes.

Muff, the seat I did myself here at my shop on gray vinyl than gave it to my friend to sew together and wrap the seat. It doesn't cost much...
