Hi,

I am currently running my UNI filter without the screen that comes with it... Is that any danger running it that way? I've done that mod 7 or 8 months ago without any problems yet.

Thanks.

I assume that you mean the "screen" that comes with the UNI, and you aren't talking about the stock screen (????).

Without something to support the soft rubber opening on the intake boot, what keeps it from collapsing without some kind of screen?????

The best thing I have found, is the ProDesign (ProFlow) system. It has an alluminum collar adapter that supports the intake boot, their own support cage, and a UNI air filter (but different from UNI's own filter).

Also, I highly recommend the EHS Racing airbox lid, with Outerwears!

I've been running my UNI filter with out the internal screen now for over a year and it works fine. The filter does not collapse. You have nothing to worry about.
