Cutting the Cheese

I finally decided to cut up my front to get the race look. Hear are a few pics of the tape I layed out. I know both sides don't match but what side do you think looks better.

If your looking at the quad from the front which side looks better. The right, left, or nethier... I'm always open to suggestions...

I would cut right where the fender makes a upside down "V" in the front.

I dont like that style personally, but hey its all about personal preference, look like a good spot to cut, and if you screw it up, you cna always fix it

Yeah I got a few pics off the net for referance and I see what your talking about when you say bring them in a bit towards the front.

deff. dont cut strait down on the fronts like that, it would look horrible

wrong tants... how ur doin is wrong compared to 99% of all people... who ur doin it would cut off the fender support where it meets the black side panels...



this is how 99% of people cut their fenders... from this u can either go to the points and give it nipples (my fav) or u angle up in the front from the v but fallow where the bend is from the highest part of the fender... if u cut it 2 close it will look crappy...

Hey str8wicked, i think you should probably cut it with the lines you had first because you can always take off a little more if you dont like it. Or if you want I can do it for ya at the Dunes......I got it DOOOOWWWWNNN! well, your prolly already there, late!

heres mine, I like it a lot more when you cut the bottems off from the back. I also don't like it with the nipples in front and when they just cut them off.

ive had mine cut about 5 diffrent ways and the best in my opinion is what naustys picture has, that is almost exactly what i have and it looks sweet imo, cant wait to cut up my new plastic too

i cut my fenders today......i just cut one side and guessed on the other....

GUESS WHAT....

It is perfect....i got sooo lucky....

yea, if i had a 400, i would definitly cut it like naustys. that is my favorite way to do it. my .02

im not wroung. thats how i did it on my 300ex and on my 250r plastics. screw the fender supports. just more weight :blah
