440 back to 416

i have a 03 400 was a 440 and want to build it into a 416 i have a stage two hot cam white brothers R4 with wb header pipe my question is im ordering a 12.5 to1 piston how will that work . ive noticed most people are only using a 10 to 1

Let me tell you first hand that...HD head studs are a must if you dont already have them... But...even with the HD studs a 12 to one compression...***without the proper octaine matching to your engine***...will blow a head gasket every time that you ride it because of excessive engine heat will weaken your block...coud i have done over i would have and am going to switch to 11-1 compression so that i can run pump gas
