stock rev limiter

what wire needs to be cut to eliminate rev limiter i am getting rid of my 440 kit . and try building it to a 416 any info on pro and cons would be very helpfull

I beleive you have to have the stock CDI modified, or purchase an aftermarket CDI to alter the rev limit.

A stock 400ex CDI should have plenty of Rev, though. Probably, no real need to alter it.

I agree with Bwamos....why do you want to eliminate the rev limit? The power starts dropping off before you hit the limit anyways, so no need to go beyond. Just hurts the longevity of the motor to let it over-rev.

i agree no advantages of over reving just more strain on moter keep the rev limiter
