Hey guys, got a couple questions.
First off I need to get a new swingarm pivot bolt and after calling around and checking ebay, the prices seem a little ridiculous. Has anyone taken a bolt to a supply house or something to try and match one up? I'm pretty much convinced I can get one for 20-25 bucks if I look around. Is there anything special about this thing?
Second, anybody have a used one? I'd like to get a cheap one to test my theory at a few shops. Or, can I take the sleeve in the rebuilt kit, along with the swinger and figure how big the bolt needs to be? Either way, I'm in the market for a bolt, let me know if you have one, Thanks

I thought pivot bolts could be found anywhere, seemed like they were all over the place last I looked. I believe Woodward Specialties on Ebay sells a stainless one too, you may have to ask for it though.

The pivot bolt diameter is 14 mm.

I'm also curious to know if this can be sourced elsewhere...

You can also use a pivot bolt from a 400ex or 450R (much cheaper to buy from Honda than 250R bolt)-- they are about 2mm longer than a 250R bolt, so you'd need to add a washer or 2.
