Im upgrading quads soon, and I'm thinking about an LT-R450 or a Raptor 700R... If both had the baffle and airlid removed, and the lt-r had a cherry bomb, which quad would have more low-end to mid-end power? And which would have the fastest top speed???

700R will by far have more lowend.....What type of riding do you do?

Don't bother pulling the baffle and airbox from the 700. It runs the same and sounds like crap.

The raptor would have more torque/low end.

Will the rappy run with the ltr 450 on the top end???

Yes, the raptor 700 will run with an ltr on topend with similar mods.

Ran a 700Rlast year. He jumped on me right out the gate. My front wheels were about even with his back wheels the whole way up to the top of 4th gear. I have the a yosh rs5, cherry bomb, Uni filter with no lid, -1 countersprocket and 20" tires. He had looney tuned exhaust, Pro design intake, power commander and -1 counter sprocket.

Like everyone said they have the bottom end torque to take out most quads and they still have enough top end to make the gains on the bottom stick.

Unless you're running MX...get the raptor...
