yeah its crazy isnt it, ive been watching it for a couple days now. If they never said restored you would never know the difference from an original bike though.

RESTORED is not the right term. Restored means that it has degraded and has been brought back to New. These machines were probably very low hour machines with a little oil stains here and there and a few scuffs then stripped down and anything that was no perfect was replaced with NEW OEM ORIGINAL parts.

Don't forget about this one
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1989-Honda-TRX250r-250r-Show-Bike_W0QQitemZ160236721994QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item 160236721994&

they would make a nice pair. The only thing different between these and new or ORIGINAL is that they used powdercoat instead of paint - which as we all know is a little more durable.

If I didn't think it was a complete waste of money to have that much money tied up into something to look at I'd buy them.

Reiterates the point that I should put my stock parts back on and leave it original. It pretty much is now, anyway... IMO, its not that much fun owning a museum quad. $10,000 geez... The best part of having a quad is modifying it to your personal tastes.

I agree, I build my quads to be ridden hard and out perform a stock bike.

However, if I do win the powerball tonight, I would pick up both of them along with other wanted bikes.
