Stock Pipe on 300ex [Archive]

I heard that If you take out your silencer you will gain around 2 horspower? IS this true? Or will it just make it louder? Does it sound better then with the silencer, and if it does how do you take it out?

It might give you a little more hp but its not really worth it with all the noise you would get. Just save up for an aftermarket exhaust like I am, its worth it in the long run I believe.

Personally I liked it better w/ it out and it did help a little! Just my $.02! :D

how the **** do u take out ur silencer? like rite off the head pipe? or gutt the muffler?

Are you talking about taking out the spark arrestor ??? Cause you cant take out the silencer, out of the silencer ???:huh
Plus if you take out your spark arrestor, you have a chance of catching your trails on fire, and plus it sounds like garbage. If you want it loud, attach a microphone on the silencer and put on headphones on. J/k. :blah
