well I'm going to be ordering my a-arms in the next week or so and I'm undecided between lonestar dc-4s or laegers LT (not the pro-trax). Any input is appreciated.

also is it worth it getting 04/05 spindles for my 06?

thanks

i had to make the same choice, i couldnt come up with a clear cut reason why one was better than the other so i went with the LSR because not to many people have the DC-4s up in the northeast, and i think they look cool

What's the difference between the DC-4's and normal Lonestar's?

Personally, I prefer Laegers btw.

The only thing I don't like about LSR is the fact that they use heim joints to connect the uppers to the frame. It may be alright if you are riding in dry conditions all the time, but they will be junk in no time once you throw mud their way.

can you or someone else educate me on these heim joints...mud on wet tracks will be a common occurance so would this be a concern?

almost all a arms that are camber and caster adjustable have heims at the frame of the upper a arms. the heims will be prefectly fine for mx, but im not so sure about xc

i have a set of dc-4s for a 450r and the heims are a few years old and still tight as new..

Go with the Laeger or JB Racing. No heims and they use Frap ball joints. Also the switch to 05 spindles/hubs is worth it, I like mine much better.

Check out my lt arms. The guy who makes these used to be the main guy I believe that worked for Laeger. He has good prices also.
