if i buy esr motor mounts u have to bolt them on the frame. well do i just cut the stock motor mounts off?

The front motor mounts just bolt on and off. If yours are welded on someone has rigged it up for some reason.

wait the mounts that are on the middle of the bottom of the frame arent supposed to be welded? are those technically called motor mounts

the only aftermarket mounts are the front --- the lower that your talking about is welded to the frame on the 88/89 rear is to but the head stay on all yrs comes off

And the ESR style mount will only work on 87-89 frames, FYI.

In order to run AC Nerfs, or similar motor mount bolt up, you will need to drill through the ESR motor mounts. :(

aww r u serious thats gay. $80 motor mounts and u gotta drill em. wow more to do now hope the guy dont mess up and make em look like ****

I want to say the ESR lower motor mounts do not have a hole completely through the lower mounting holes, it would be fine without the nerf bars that mount to the motor mounting location on the frame. I sold a pair due to that reason, not wanting to drill holes through them.

Who knows...they might make them differently now.

Pics anyone? I didn't see on their website.
