Passed the Test!

i do not post too often, but i enjoy coming on here and reading all the info this site has to offer. But i wanted to post a thread because last Tuesday I took my AWS D1.1 6G Pipe welding Certification test and I passed the visual inspection. We then sent the pipe out to get it x-rayed and I found out today I passed!

thanks everyone. i know a few guys that do underwater welding. they have told me the pay is decent but not as much as everyone thinks. it is really dangerous work and does a number on ur body. when u become an underwater welder u have to become a certified diver first, so a lot of work u get isnt always welding, my one friend has pulled a total of 15 bodies out of water. i do not think i could do that. since i am going for welding engineering i have 2 more years of school and a lot of time to think about what i want to do.
