just posting to let everyone know it could happen to you. take the time to lock your atv up were ever you keep it in. just locking the place you keep it in is not good enough. i was planning on doing that myself this weekend but its to late. Its gone!! we just finnished it and broke the motor in and its gone in 1 weekend. all the hard work and time, and money it took to build it and its over. it make me sick even to think about it . the only thing worst then having your atv stolen is telling your 13 teen year old son when he got off the school bus that his atv was stolen. I hope that no other parent or member of this forum has to go thourgh that but it well happen again to someone eles. so dont sit back and think it wont happen it does everyday.today was my turn!!!!!! so if anyone in south jersey spots our atv pm me. thanks gary.http://<a href="http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k292/stevensred8/?action=view&current=dadspictures008.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k292/stevensred8/dadspictures008.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> http://<a href="http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k292/stevensred8/?action=view&current=dadspictures011.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k292/stevensred8/dadspictures011.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a> http://<a href="http://s91.photobucket.com/albums/k292/stevensred8/?action=view&current=dadspictures013.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i91.photobucket.com/albums/k292/stevensred8/dadspictures013.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

Really sorry to hear about your loss man. I am in Texas so I probably won't see it but I hope somebody does. All thieves should be shot. I hope you personally get to be the one to find the guy riding it, a little poetic justice might do him some good. I hate to say good lookin quad because it's gone, but thats a good lookin bike, hope you get it back.

Somebody knew it was there and they knew what they were looking for. I had my 88 stolen from a friends tire shop. They broke in and had their choice of 6 different quads and took mine (it was the fastest..thnx Paul Turner) and that was that. That was the last time i rode a quad so thats why my build now really means something. I live all the way across the country but i will keep a look out...you really never know as Oregon is a hotspot and there is alot of Craigslist activity. Sorrry for your loss...J

Do you have any vin numbers? Post them if you do... Watch ebay... Post as much information about the Quad you can... take pictures and post them at the food stores... Some kid has it in his garage and his parents thinks he bought it....

Hey man that really sux. I am in NJ also, and have had 2 blasters stolen. One turned up 2 years later beat to hell. Anyway I have an R now and will definetly keep an eye out for yours. Is this the one with the CR80 motor it it also? Lastly, where in Jersey was it stolen from? I am pretty sure I know where your riding area is, and I know for a fact that there are some real scumbags down there....

yes this is the 1 with the cr80 motor in it and we do ride in the pines but that does'nt matter because scum just drive around and look for things to steel. it was taken from newfield

sorry to hear about your loss. i live in south jersey as well and know how you feel. I will keep my eyes and ears open. I know if i see this quad it would stand out for sure, so thats one thing that you would probably have going for you if you get some flyers made and post them up. Maybe they thought that they stole a 250r and new nothing about the 80 motor so hopefully they will leave it somewhere close to you.

thanks for all the replies. were trying to keep our chin up but its hard. it took us a year to save and build it not counting all the hours of fab work to get the motor in. so were going to build the same identical bike to the t. well allmost it may be a little bit better!!!! thanks and there is a reward for information if we get the quad back.

I'm real sorry to here about your loss. I will keep an eye out here in western NY. A one-off R like that WILL turnup. Scumbags out here too...my '89 has been gone for over a year now and it still hurts. I had it for 3 weeks and it was stolen from my locked garage. A**holes broke in my garage in the middle of the night on Jan 31st 07. Best of luck to you.

PLEASE LOCK UP YOUR TOYS!!

nothing funny about losing your ride ,,

when I started my build thats why I went with the lime green because it would be the easiest to spot from far away
