The fronts look cool.....reminds me of a mix of knobby and a grooved radial front. Now i'm just as curious to know :p

They've been posted before but I couldn't find them through a search. They look like they would push like crazy in the turns:ermm:

Looks like these Maxsport rf1 tires are coming out of the UK?

Went to their website, but limited info :ermm:

Closest thing I can find is the tire at the bottom of this page under grass tires:
http://www.maxsport-competition-tyres.co.uk/grasstrack.html

Looks like they come in medium hard, soft, and super soft compounds.

I like how these tires aren't balloon-like or square-profiled either. If anyone has some more info we would greatly appreciate it! :macho

A buddy a set knocking about his workshop for months but I was to slow to get my hands on them. I think are are lovelly looking tyres and I am informed they handle pretty darn well.

Since about last year. +100 dollars I think is the difference. Diff between them is the MGC part.

Nick110 are there any handling advantages to the MGC a arms for mx?

They are Maxsport Edge Rf1. You can get them in:

Hard
Medium
Soft
Super Soft.

They also do coloured versions.

The guy who designed them spent a lot of time refining the design. They are VERY popoular over here in the UK. They handle amazing on hard pack dirt and with "marbles" on the track. They are very good in slick wet conditions aswel. They do have a tendency to clog up in thick mud, but no tye can be perfect really.

Jason Macbeth (british #3) has gone to the States this season to race and took the tyres over with him, i think he's trying to set some dealerships up.

Seem like they'd make a great flat track / TT tire as well.
