IS ANYONE RUNNING AN ESR MIKUNI 41.5 TMX CARB? IF SO WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE PERFORMANCE? DOES IT HAVE GOOD THROTTLE RESPONSE AND GOOD BOTTOM END, OR IS IT JUST A TOP END CARB. HOW DOES THIS CARB COMPARE TO THE MIKUNI 38MM TMX OR THE 38MM AIRSTRYKER? IS ANYONE RUNNING THE 41.5MM WITH A 330 STROKER, OR WHAT IS YOUR SET UP.

Any time you go bigger on the carb bore, throttle responce goes down. Smaller the bore, more responce you will get like you need for tight tracks.
If your draging, wide open off the line, then yes a big carb bore is ok.

We have a Keihin ESR 42mm on a 265 running TT, but hey its wide open most of the time & does fine, but you pull it down out of a corner & its the biggest turkey you ever sat on.

Chose a carb depending on the track your running.
