Knockin

Hi I bought a 2001 300EX about a month ago and now ive had to buy a new rear carrier. Now ive been riding more and there is a knockin comming from the case. it gets faster if i rev it up i thought it was the valves but the are in spec i need to fix this plz help

well now i road it for like 10 minutes today and the motor locked up.......i pulled the motor and found out there is a 2 in round hole in the piston and a valve has been broken off. the head is crap and so is the cylinder. any suggestions.

do u know anything about how to rebuiid it?

yea i take apart motors all the time but i think im gonna bring it to my local powersports mechanic and see if he can find a new head and jug and get it bored for me

hey my recomendation is go on ebay get a jeg and maybe a head, but u can get a jeg for like 60 and then get it boared localy and what ot and look in to jennsan (idk speelling) motor sports for a head, they have blueprinted 300ex heads for reasonable prices
