that says alot for the rod. you ought t go get the rod examined to see how much stress it has. with the amount of damage to the piston it would seem that the rod should have snapped.

oh she locked up, its my buddies quad and we were riding at night and next thing we knew he was gone. we thought he was in a ditch but he was just sitting there and said it locked up. As for damage ya it is tore up. broken valves and trash everywhere. It'll make a killer dinner table center piece though.

I changed a topend in a buddies that looked like that. It locked up on him in 5th in a field.


He said it was smoking for a few weeks. It didnt have much oil in it when i drained it.
